一對多的臨近服務直接通訊，僅僅適用於具有臨近服務功能的ue，並且該ue是授權了的，可以是受e-utran服務的，或者在e-utran覆蓋範圍之外。
一對多的臨近服務直接通訊具有以下特徵：
1）一對多的臨近直接通訊是非連線狀態的。因此在pc5的控制面上沒有信令(signalling)。
2）無線層提供使用者面通訊服務，為直接通訊的ue之間的ip 資料報的資料報的傳輸提供服務。
3）組成員之間分享乙個共同的秘鑰，用於這個組內的資料的加密。
4）一對多的直接通訊的授權是由prose function 執行。
5）prose ue的配置資訊（including prose group ip multicast addresses, prose group ids, group security material, radio related parameters）都在ue側進行配置。
1.ue首先獲得一些必要的組資訊（層2的組id，臨近服務組ip多播位址），來傳輸ip層的傳送資料，還要獲得一些無線資源相關的引數用於直接通訊。
